Diaper Rash - What causes diaper rashes and how to avoid them?

Diaper Rash, the word itself, brings a terror in every mom's mind. It refers to the irritation, red ness or inflammation in the diaper area.
They are the most frequent in babies between 9-12 months, because that is when they are sitting for most of the time and eating solid food leading to change in the acidity of their stool. As these rashes are mainly caused due to bacteria in the stool, the babies who have frequent bowel are more prone to diaper rashes.
Diaper rashes or related infections may also be caused due to the chemicals used in the disposable diapers. So, make sure that if you use disposable diapers, they do not use harmful chemicals. Also, there are a lot of fakes available in the market, so please check and buy from trusted stores only.
Diapers rubbing against the moist skin is one of the main reasons for a diaper rash. So, its important to ensure that the baby skin does not stay wet.

Modern cloth diapers ensure that the babys skin is dry and keep the moisture away.
